Self-Talk:  What Are You Saying?  Why Does It Matter?

Whether out loud or silently in our head, we all “talk” to ourselves all day.  For many people, that self-talk can have powerful effects in either supporting healthy behavior changes or sabotaging them.  In this presentation we’ll look at five of the most common patterns of self-talk that affect people’s efforts to create a healthy lifestyle.  We’ll talk about how to recognize when they are sabotaging you, and how to turn them around to become part of your support network.
